The contents of manuscript collection MS 474 (Arthur H. Hays) were transferred to MS 574 in 1995. The collection now contains 6 boxes, box- 1-4 personal papers and photographs, box 5 - Kuna history and box 6 - oversize photos.

Box 1 contains draft manuscripts, research materials, and correspondence. Box 2 contains photographs, printed matter and class note books. The bulk of the collection is in photocopy form.
