Contents of an 1870 cornerstone from a cellhouse building at the Idaho Territorial Penitentiary. Includes correspondence, lists of fraternal lodge members, various almanacs and newspapers, coins, seals and other memorabilia.
Masonic Lodge. Eli G. Thomas, caretaker, coming down rickety stairs leading to the lodge hall upstairs. This building & stairs was unsafe and could in no way be preserved.
