Description	In his interview with Troy Reeves and Joslyn Olnes on October 11, 2006, newspaper reporter Bob Fick talked about his memories of moving to Idaho to cover the political news in the Idaho State Capitol. Fick talked about the period from 1983 to 2006 and about the following topics: his work for the Associated Press; sitting in the JFAC (Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee) from 1983 on; the Stallings vs. Hansen senatorial race in 1984; and the fire in the JFAC room in 1992. This interview was conducted for the Idaho State Capitol oral history project, a joint project of the Idaho State Historical Society, Idaho Capitol Commission, and Riverstone Community School.
