Description	In his interview with Troy Reeves in February 2006, Bob Gerdes, the artist and sculptor of some of the art that resides inside the Idaho State Capitol, offered his memories of creating a sundial sculpture for the Capitol. Gerdes also talked about many of his other sculptures and where they were displayed in Idaho and the U.S. Gerdes spoke of the time period between the 1950s and 2005 and of the following topics: the Idaho State Capitol; metal-working; the life of an artist; and his various art works. This interview was conducted for the Idaho State Capitol oral history project, a joint project of the Idaho State Historical Society, Idaho Capitol Commission, and Riverstone Community School.
