State aid 9 D Salmon River Bridge to Owsley Bridge, length & 5.1 miles constructed1927. This was the first oil mix project constructed in Idaho. First section of 2110 feet being reworked in 1928 to correct distorted surface due to a seepy condition of the subgrade upon which it was laid. Note compaction and absence of bond to wet clay base .
