Scrapbooks relating to Alexander's terms as mayor of Boise, Idaho (1897-1899) and as governor of Idaho (1915-1918); reports of activities of state departments and institutions (1917-1918); and legal briefs, reports, and memorabilia. Several documents, newsclippings, and momentos of Moses Alexander's personal and professional life as mayor of Boise and Governor of Idaho. Scrapbooks contain articles, campaign literature, telegrams and social invitations. For Moses Alexander's gubernatorial papers, see: AR 2/11. The five scrapbooks have been microfilmed and should be used in lieu of the original materials which are in fragile condition. See: MF 537. |
