Scope and Content Note	The collection contains personal papers and extensive notes on Emmett and St. Mary's Episcopol Church. Also included are family documents such as an overland diary of her grand-mother Jane Tyler Maynard, and documents relating to her parents, Frank W. and Ruth Maynard Hunt's professional and political activities. Photographic material documenting local and state history and family history are in Box 1.
Biographical Note	Katherine Tyler Hunt was both March 7, 1906 in Emmett, Idaho. She attended local high schools and Hilton-Arms School in Washington D.C. She was involved in civic and community projects in Idaho in Emmett and Boise and died March 21, 1989.
